Under construction: a new way to build this site

If projecta2b.net looks different today — that's because it is. We're rebuilding it live, with site-building software of our own making, and for the next day or so things will visibly move around: pages appearing, copy changing, downloads getting wired up.

Why rebuild at all? The old site did what rented platforms do: it worked, mostly, on someone else's terms. The new one is built by our own tool, end to end — which means every promise on it is one we can actually keep:

• Zero cookies, zero third parties — enforced by machine, not policy. The build fails if a page ever tries to set a cookie.
• Permanent downloads — releases keep their links, sizes and checksums forever.
• Everything in one place — products, releases, docs, this devlog, and (soon) purchases, all managed from one desk.

The under-construction strip comes down when the dust settles. Until then, mind the moving furniture — and if something looks broken, tell us; the contact form already works.
